   Infrared Thermography
Infrared Thermography Thermography is the use of an infrared imaging and measurement camera to "see" and "measure" thermal energy emitted from an object.

Infrared thermography cameras produce images of invisible infrared or "heat" radiation and provide precise non-contact temperature measurement capabilities. Nearly everything gets hot before it fails, making infrared cameras extremely cost-effective, valuable diagnostic tools in many diverse applications.

Hot Spot Detection
"Hot spots" in your system can cause failure of electrical connections in breaker panels, buss work, transformers, and motors. They are invisible except to specialized infrared thermography equipment, and undetected, they can cause expensive equipment breakdowns and major service interruptions.

The potential hazards of "hot spots" should not be ignored, so make CU a part of your regularly scheduled preventive maintenance program by calling (417) 863-9000 (request Electric Services) for an appointment today.
