Business Analyst - Finance - Business Unit Reporting
- Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university. Advanced proficiency CPA, CMA, MA or MBA is highly preferred.
Three years experience in Accounting or related field. Working knowledge in project costing and general ledger is preferred. Proficiency in the use of spreadsheets, graphics, database, and word processing software applications is required. PeopleSoft financials experience is a plus. Advanced proficiency CPA, CMA, MA or MBA may be considered in lieu of one year of the experience requirement.
- Position Requirements
Strong financial quantitative/analytical skills; Effective communication and interpersonal skills; Working knowledge of problems and practices applicable to functions of Accounting; Must have Excel spreadsheet experience; Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial software preferred.
Performs project costing, and maintains the project management reporting and asset management systems. Analyzes and posts fixed asset transactions. As a Finance liaison with project managers, develops reports, performs project analysis, budget preparation, and financial training. Provides management support for financial audits, functional responsibilities in software implementations and upgrades, and key budget functions, including collection of labor and project budget information. Researches appropriate fixed asset accounting treatment according to FERC.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC II – 1st 6 Months
- Education/Experience Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent and 32 credit hours in related craft school required; or high school graduate or equivalent and four years’ recent power plant mechanical or operations experience is required; or a college degree in Industrial Technology required.
Recent experience with heavy industrial equipment maintenance or operations (for example: boilers, turbines, large pumps, valves, etc.) is required.
- Position Requirements
Must be able to troubleshoot, analyze, repair and return to service mechanical equipment and system components varying in size, design and manufacturer. Must be able to interpret blueprints, service manuals and technical data of varied types. Must also be knowledgeable of: plant steam/water cycle; functions of fans, dampers, pumps, pulverizers, compressors, dryers, valves of varied types; applications and methods of repair; drill presses, lathes, milling machinery and various hand and powered tools; bearings; couplings; methods of cleaning, repair, lubrication and alignment; insulation materials, wrapping and installation procedures; paints, solvents, cleaning agents, tools and applications, welding techniques, equipment and applications. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in a test situation. Must have a valid Missouri driver’s license (minimum Class F). Physical requirements include: pushing, pulling, stooping, lifting 55 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally, working at heights, and being able to visually differentiate between color-coded electrical and electronic equipment associated with this job. Must be able to respond to audible and visual alarms, including safety and production alarms. May step up to higher classified operations positions as scheduled by management.
May be required to successfully complete a minimum of one training course, such as outlined below, during each six month period until all six courses are completed or during the first three years of employment, whichever occurs first, 16 weeks of each of the following: beginning machine shop, advanced machine shop, blueprint reading, advanced blueprint reading, basic electricity, and welding beginning or advanced, depending upon previous training or experience. Course topics may be altered to tailor training to employee needs. Successful completion of Vo-Tech training course shall include proof of a 90 percent attendance record. All time for study, travel, and classes for Vo-Tech training shall be on the employee’s own time.
Under the general direction of a Supervisor-Power Station Maintenance, performs all maintenance functions which may be assigned with the overall goal to maintain or enhance the reliability and efficiency of the generating plant. Performs repairs and maintenance on physical structures and detailed maintenance on heavy industrial power plant equipment. May work irregular work schedules, including shift work for operations relief.

Assistant Manager-Laboratories
- Education/Experience Requirements
An ACS certified college degree in Chemistry or other appropriate technically related degree is required. Graduate level work or special training courses from AWWA, EPA, or DNR are highly desirable and special applicable experience will be considered. Master’s degree preferred if in an appropriate area of study.
Five years’ advanced laboratory experience is required with management responsibility. The experience should be in a utility or water laboratory.

Must have adequate knowledge of drinking water regulations as well as environmental regulations. Must be thoroughly acquainted with QA/QC procedures and Good Laboratory Practices. Must have demonstrated ability to manage professional staff and interface with customers and the public as well as the professional groups. Must have a working knowledge of sound supervisory and management practices. Must be experienced in written and oral presentations. Must have a Class A Operator’s License or be able to obtain one within 18 months. Must have a valid Missouri driver’s license (minimum Class F). Must be able to perform field surveillance, swim, operate a boat, and lift gear and instruments in a safe manner. Normal field, laboratory and office environment. Must be available on a 24-hour basis for emergency situations and will assign other laboratory personnel to be available.
Under the direction of the Manager-Water Distribution & Supply, responsible for the direction and results of the laboratory analysts and support staff, having primary responsibility for chemical analyses, microbiological analyses and algal identification as well as source water and watershed monitoring as it relates to water quality. Serves as technical advisor in all areas such as regulations, public health, water quality, analytical instrumentation, data interpretation, land management practices and reservoir management. Responsible for EPA/DNR laboratory certification and the reliability of all results using robust QA/QC, adequate training and staffing. Interpret research results to direct and guide lakes and watershed management practices.

Electronic, Instrumentation & Control Technician
- Salary: $30.54/hour
- Education/Experience Requirements
Qualified applicant must meet one of the following educational requirements:
- College degree in Industrial Technology (Electricity/Electronics).
- Completion of an accredited four-year apprentice program for either an instrument technical or journeyman electrician, plus a minimum of 12 college level credit hours in electricity/electronics.
- Agree to complete college level courses within a 30-month period immediately following acceptance of this job plus meet Experience Option #3.
Qualified applicants must meet one of the following experience requirements. The term "recent" as referred to below shall mean that time period immediately preceding the applicant's interview for this job.
- Minimum of two years recent experience as a power plant electrician or instrument technician.
- Minimum of three years recent experience as an electrician or instrument technician in an industrial plant.
- Minimum of three years recent experience as a power plant electrician or instrument technician or minimum four years recent experience as an electrician or instrument technician in an industrial plant.
- Position Requirements
Must have recent experience in repairing testing and maintaining electrical and pneumatic equipment, including both analog and digital electronics controls. Must also be proficient in the use of electrical tools and test equipment.
