   ENERGY STAR® Air-Source Heat Pump Rebate
EnergyWise - Air Source Rebate Electric air-source heat pumps use the difference between outdoor air temperatures and indoor air temperatures to cool and heat your home. Nearly 50% of a home’s energy consumption is attributed to heating and cooling. So making wise decisions about your home’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems can have a big effect on your comfort level and utility usage.

Benefits:  $100 per Ton & $25 per SEER over 14 mail-in rebate
Who's Eligible:  CU residential, multi-family, or residential new construction customers with electric service

About the Program:
City Utilities electric residential, multi-family and residential new construction customers who purchase and install an air-source heat pump system may qualify for a rebate of $100 per Ton and $25 for each additional Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) above 14. SEER 15 or higher is required for new construction. Electric air-source heat pumps use the difference between outdoor air temperatures and indoor air temperatures to cool and heat your home. Certain restrictions apply; see guidelines on rebate form.

Registered Contractors
Many qualified contractors are able to perform efficiency upgrades. Choose one from the list of contractors registered with City Utilities, or select one of your own to perform the work. Either way, you will be on your way to saving energy and money.
