About the Program:
City Utilities electric residential, multi-family and residential new construction customers who purchase and install a high efficiency central air conditioning system may qualify for a rebate of $100 per Ton and $25 for each additional Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) above 14 for existing homes, and above 15 for new construction.
Nearly 50% of a home’s energy consumption is attributed to heating and cooling. So making wise decisions about your home’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems can have a big effect on your comfort level and utility usage. For this reason, City Utilities is offering a rebate to help make this energy efficient decision more affordable.

Many qualified contractors are able to perform efficiency upgrades. Choose one from the list of contractors registered with City Utilities, or select one of your own to perform the work. Either way, you will be on your way to saving energy and money.
