ENERGY STAR® Central Air Conditioner Rebate
Nearly 50% of a home’s energy consumption is attributed to heating and cooling. So making wise decisions about your home’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems can have a big effect on your comfort level and utility usage.
About the Program:
City Utilities electric residential, multi-family and residential new construction customers who purchase and install a high efficiency central air conditioning system may qualify for a rebate of $100 per Ton and $25 for each additional Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) above 14. SEER 15 or higher is required for new construction. Certain restrictions apply; see guidelines on rebate form.
Registered Contractors
Many qualified contractors are able to perform efficiency upgrades. Choose one from the list of contractors registered with City Utilities, or select one of your own to perform the work. Either way, you will be on your way to saving energy and money.
