   Commercial Lighting Rebate
Commercial Lighting Rebate You can save energy and money - and increase the light quality - by upgrading to more efficient lighting at your business. City Utilities Commercial Lighting rebate program will help you upgrade your warehouse or production area lighting (High Bay) to more efficient technologies. Replace your exterior lighting with efficient alternatives to save energy and maintenance costs. Upgrade your Exit Signs to LED technology, and add Occupancy Sensors to save energy when lighting isn't needed.

Benefits:  Up to $10,000 rebate
Who's Eligible:  CU commercial electric customers

High Bay and Exterior Lighting Upgrade
City Utilities commercial electric customers who replace existing High Bay fixtures with more efficient HID, fluorescent T8 or T5, or LED systems are eligible for a rebate.

LED Exit Signs
City Utilities commercial electric customers who replace existing incandescent or compact fluorescent exit signs with LED exit signs are eligible for a rebate of $15 per sign.

Occupancy Sensors
City Utilities commercial electric customers who install occupancy sensors on new or existing lighting are eligible for a rebate. Occupancy sensors must be wall/switch, fixture, or ceiling mounted.

Application Process:
  1. Complete Commercial Lighting Project Worksheet.
  2. Complete the Commercial Lighting Rebate Application
  3. CU's Energy Services & Renewables department will contact you to schedule an on-site pre-evaluation inspection to discuss the Program Guidelines, verify the existing lighting system and receive approval for the project. (Any work completed prior to the pre-evaluation inspection will not be eligible for the rebate.)
