Commercial Lighting Rebate
You can save energy and money - and increase the light quality - by upgrading to more efficient lighting at your business. CU is providing a rebate to help you upgrade your traditional office lights (T12 to T8 lamps) and warehouse or production area lighting (High Bay) to more efficient technologies.
Making the decision to improve lighting in your business is an important investment in energy savings for today and tomorrow.

T12 to T8 Upgrade:
City Utilities commercial electric customers who retrofit or replace existing T12 Linear Fluorescent fixtures and magnetic ballasts with new 25-28 Watt T8 lamps and electronic ballasts are eligible for a rebate.

City Utilities commercial electric customers who replace existing High Bay fixtures with new T8, T8HO (high output), T8VHO (very high output), T5HO or T5VHO Linear Fluorescent systems are eligible for a rebate.

Pre-evaluation:
Prior to removal of the old lighting equipment, City Utilities must perform a preevaluation to verify the existing lighting system and worksheet, and approve the customer's application.
All approved projects must be completed and all information submitted by August 31 of each program year. Certain restrictions apply; see guidelines on the application form.
