Who's Eligible:  CU residential customers with electric or natural gas services
Program Status:   Rebate program has funds available - accepting applications
Rebate Form:  Residential insulation rebate form

About the Program:
Don’t let your energy bills go through the roof. Or the walls and floors, either. You can save energy and money, while increasing comfort, by upgrading the insulation in your home. Attics, crawl spaces, and exterior walls are all places where it can really pay to have the right amount of insulation. Making sure your home’s insulation level is adequate keeps heated or cooled air where it should be: inside your home. Plus, the outside air temperature stays where it should be: outside!

To help make it affordable, CU electric or natural gas residential customers are eligible for a 20% rebate, up to $300, of the total cost of insulation upgrades. Insulation installation site must be an existing residential dwelling served by CU. Rebate is not available for new construction. Applicants must own the residence and be the customer of record for an active, non-delinquent account. Certain restrictions apply; see guidelines on the rebate form.

Registered Contractors
Many qualified contractors are able to perform efficiency upgrades. Choose one from the list of contractors registered with City Utilities, or select one of your own to perform the work. Either way, you will be on your way to saving energy and money.
