Dean leads CUís Economic Development, Business Retention and Expansion, Key Accounts and Developer Services groups. He works with the City of Springfield, Greene County, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and other entities to coordinate economic development programs for the Springfield area.
Ben is the primary contact for prospect inquiries on utility infrastructure availability, projected costs, as well as utility incentives for specific commercial and industrial projects. He works with CUís design engineers to assist prospective commercial and industrial customers with the coordination of electric, natural gas, water utility and fiber connectivity.
Bob serves as liaison and primary contact point for CU's major customers. As Key Accounts Manager, Bob is responsible for developing and enhancing a positive relationship with these customers by providing a high level of customer support in all areas of utility operations and customer service.
Mitzie is responsible for the utilityís business retention and expansion program where she assists business customers with coordination of electric, natural gas and water utility services throughout the expansion process. She is also the primary contact for Springfieldís industrial parks and business customers providing industry news and assistance with utility-related requests for information.
Jenn Harrison provides administrative support to Dean Thompson and the Business and Economic Development Department. She is responsible for the daily operations for Business and Economic Development, coordinating events and meetings, developing/distributing reports and presentations, assisting with long range planning and analyzing key performance goals, maintaining budget information and assisting with the preparation of marketing materials and proposals.
