Driver of the Year Welcome Aboard!
We want to get you to your destination as safely and easily as possible. We, at CU Transit Services, take pride in providing our community with a greatly needed service.

One of the ways to recognize the contribution our employees make to the community is by honoring a driver of the year.

  • Driver of the Year

    City Utilities’ Transit Driver Shawn Dlouhy has been selected as the 2011 Driver of the Year.

    The selection is based on job performance, courtesy, neatness, attendance, accident-free driving and attitude. The Driver of the Year is chosen by CU Transit employees.

    Shawn has been employed by City Utilities’ Transit as a bus operator since 1986 and currently drives Line 11 which serves the southeast and southwest areas of Springfield.
