- Driver of the Year
T.J. Davis was selected as City Utilities Transit's 2008 Driver of the Year. T.J. also received the 2003 Driver of the Year award. T.J. has been employed by City Utilities as a bus operator since 1995 and currently drives Line 6, which serves the southwest portion of Springfield.
T.J. truly believes in the service we provide; he is totally focused on the customer. Bus operators have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our customers - everyday they can influence the lives of people in a positive way.
A Driver of the Year must meet the highest standards in providing safe, reliable, and courteous service to the community. To be eligible, a driver must be be accident-free for the year, provide excellent customer service, and have an exemplary attendance record. The Driver of the Year is ultimately selected by a vote of his or her peers.
