The Board Approves Surplus of Former Bus Transfer Station

The Board of Public Utilities authorized CU staff to proceed with the surplus and disposition of the former Bus Transfer Station located at 301 W. McDaniel. Sale of the property is to follow guidelines established by the Federal Transit Administration and local regulations outlined by the City Charter.

 

June 13-17 Declared Communities in Motion Week

The week of June 13 – 17 will be observed as Communities in Motion Week by City Utilities Transit Services. Events highlighting public transportation will soon be announced.

 

CU Offices Closed on Memorial Day and Transit Operating Holiday Schedule

On Memorial Day, May 30, CU Transit Services will operate routes on a modified holiday schedule.

Transit Services will offer hourly bus service using Sunday routes and schedules. Service will begin at the Transit Center at 8:10 a.m., with the last trip leaving the Transit Center at 5:10 p.m. Access Express bus service will be available from 8:10 a.m. until 6:10 p.m. on Monday, May 30.

Normal daily routes for Transit Services will resume on Tuesday, May 31, at 6 a.m.

City Utilities main office at 301 E. Central, and all other CU offices, will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, 2016.
