Board Receives Updates on Utility Operations

During today’s meeting the Board of Public Utilities approved the May, 2016 financial statement and members were provided updates on the operating units of the utility. There were no committee reports or actions taken.

CU Offices Closed on Independence Day and Transit Operating Holiday Schedule

CU Transit Services will operate routes on a modified holiday schedule on Monday, July 4, 2016.

Hourly bus service using routes and schedules normally operated nightly and on Sundays. Service will begin at the Transit Center at 8:10 a.m.; with the last trip leaving at 5:10 p.m. Access Express bus service will be available from 8:10 a.m. until 6:10 p.m. Normal daily route service will resume at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5.

City Utilities main office at 301 E. Central, and all other CU offices, will be closed in observance of Independence Day on Monday, July 4, 2016.
