Annual Independent Audit

Actions of Transit Drivers Recognized by Board

The Board of Public Utilities publicly recognized and honored two CU Transit drivers for their actions taken to help our community. In December, bus driver T.J. Davis recognized a missing 13-year old girl who was accompanied by an adult male. Davis stopped his bus and kept the teen safe until police arrived. The actions of Davis ended the search for the teen and resulted in kidnapping charges for the adult.

In November, Bryan Stephens came upon a 2-year old boy who was alone and wearing little clothing. Stephens stopped his bus and brought the child onboard where he and his passengers helped the boy until the police arrived.
