Annual Independent Audit

Accounting firm BKD reported a clean opinion and found no areas of concern regarding the financial position of the utility. The independent audit report was for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2019. The full audit report can be found on the City Utilities website.

 

Transit Driver of the Year

CU Transit announced today that Larry Grube has been selected by his peers as the 2019 Transit Driver of the Year. A formal presentation of the award will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, at the CU Transit Center located at 211 N. Main Street.

 

Winter Weather Conditions May Produce Higher Utility Bills

Unpredictable weather patterns during winter months can result in higher than expected utility bills for customers. CU would like to remind customers who may be facing financial difficulty to call our Customer Service Representatives and discuss options and payment arrangements. CU also offers several rebates to help conserve your energy and water dollars. More information on payment options and rebates can be found on our website.
