COVID – 19 Related Utility Updates and Memorial Day Schedule

City Utilities continues to follow community guidelines and precautions due to the COVID virus. Some of the steps taken are as follows:

  • The main lobby at 301 E. Central remains closed until further notice.
  • Service disconnections for non-payment have been discontinued until July 6 at the earliest. Customers are encouraged to contact Customer Service to discuss payment arrangements if financial difficulty is a concern.

 

CU Memorial Day Schedule

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2020, Transit Services will offer hourly bus service using routes and schedules, normally operated on Sundays, with service beginning at the Transfer Center at 10:00 a.m.; with the last trip leaving the Transit Center at 5:00 p.m. Access Express bus service will be available from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25.

The existing modified schedule and routes will resume on Tuesday, May 26, at 6 a.m.

CU Transit and Access Express will remain on the current routes and schedules until May 30. On Sunday, May 31, 2020 we anticipate moving back to normal operations for City Utilities Transit. (We will be monitoring the COVID-19 issues in the community to make a final decision.)
