Harmony House to Benefit from 2022 Halloween Hustle Event

The 2022 Halloween Hustle, organized by City Utilities employees, took place on October 29, to support the work of Harmony House. Over 350 participants, and generous sponsors, combined their efforts to raise $20,844 to support the area’s domestic violence shelter. “Domestic violence is prevalent in our community,” said Delaney Yocom, Harmony House Director of Development. “This annual event helps Harmony House provide a safe environment to those in need.” Information on services provided by Harmony House can be found on their website.

“Share the Light” for Project SHARE

On Saturday, December 10, City Utilities is again partnering with iHeart Radio to raise awareness and funding for Project SHARE, a way to assist the less fortunate in our community with winter utility bills. From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., on December 10, stop by the iHeart offices at the Historic Tower Theater, 1856 S. Glenstone, where for a $10 donation, you’ll receive a red and green LED light bulb. All funds go directly to Project SHARE and are administered by OACAC (Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation). Details and additional ways to participate are available on the iHeart Radio Springfield website.
