Looking Ahead at Power Resources – Integrated Resource Planning

City Utilities will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the Integrated Resource Plan of the utility. An Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) is an analysis of how the utility will work to meet future power generation and demand requirements of customers. The IRP study looks at potential energy demand in the City Utilities service territory in the next 20 years.

The meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, at 5:30 p.m., will be held in the auditorium of the City Utilities Training Center, at 301 E. Central. A livestream of the meeting, with options for attendees to submit questions virtually, will be available and posted on the CU website early next week.
