Illuminate Lives this Holiday Season
This holiday season, we invite you to join us in an act of generosity that can truly make a huge difference in our community. On Saturday, December 9, we’ll be at the iHeart Studios (2740 S Glenstone in the Brentwood Center) for this year’s SHARE the Light event. Swing by between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and donate a minimum of $10 to Project SHARE. As a token of our appreciation, you’ll receive one red and one green LED bulb to brighten up your own home with the spirit of the season.
Your participation in SHARE the Light supports Project SHARE, an initiative that extends a helping hand to those in our community struggling to cover their utility bills. CU partners with Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) to distribute Project SHARE donations to those in need. Every dollar you contribute directly aids those in need right here in Springfield.
If you can’t make it to the iHeart Studios, you can still be part of the magic. Tune in to any iHeart radio station, where we’ll be broadcasting live, sharing the heartwarming stories and the impact of your contributions. You can also consider rounding up your utility bill to the next dollar each month or make a simple donation. You can send a check payable to Project SHARE to our address at PO Box 551, Springfield, MO 65801. Alternatively, you can call us at (417) 863-9000 to discuss your contribution.
