City Utilities is available 24/7 to respond to emergencies requiring immediate attention, such as natural gas leaks and downed electrical lines. For utility emergencies, call CU at (417) 863-9000, or dial 911.

Non-emergency services will not be available on City Utilities holidays, which are: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth National Independence Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. If a holiday falls on the weekend, it will be observed on the nearest business day.
