In accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation as set forth in 49 C.F.R. 26, as amended, City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri (CU) hereby notifies the public that it is recommending a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 6.04% for applicable professional services, construction, and procurement contracts for CU Transit Services during Fiscal Years 2021 – 2023, beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2023. A PowerPoint presentation that provides rationale behind the determination of this goal and a description of how it was selected is available for inspection for 30 days (8/14/2020 – 9/13/2020) via the link provided below. Additional reference material related to the DBE goal setting process is available upon request by calling the CU Purchasing Office at 417-831-8363. Written comments on this goal will be accepted during the 30-day inspection period provided herein.
