CU’s Safety Village
CU’s Safety Village is a great way to teach children about electrical safety. Our trained technicians bring the village to your classroom or group meeting to demonstrate ways to stay safe around electricity. The program is a great addition to the fourth grade student science curriculum. The Safety Village is a small model of distribution lines and transformers, similar to your own neighborhood. Our technicians discuss the safety gear they use while working around high voltage equipment, along with the importance for others to keep a safe distance away.
